No. The anchor has its own built-in cellular module (LTE-M / NB-IoT) and connects to our servers completely independently. All you need is a standard 230V outlet in the barn – no farm Wi-Fi, no network cables.
Nothing is lost. The ear tags and the anchor buffer all values locally (for up to 30 days) and sync automatically as soon as the radio link and power are back.
Yes. We operate GDPR-compliant with encryption from the sensor. Your data is transmitted encrypted to the cloud via cellular. We use anonymized vital data exclusively to train our AI – and you decide which individual access rights determine who can look at your herd.
Yes. This is a scenario we will be testing extensively during the pilot phase. Our wireless technology covers long distances with a clear line of sight. During the farm walkthrough we will determine exactly where to place the anchors to provide optimal coverage for your pastures near the barn.
We deliberately want to test HerdTek in very different barns so the technology works reliably everywhere. That is why we check every application to see whether your farm currently fits our test goals – and we get back to you after the initial contact.
No, there is no long-term commitment. We agree on a fixed time frame for the pilot test in advance. Once that period ends, you are completely free to decide whether you want to continue using our system.
